Job Purpose
To efficiently and effectively coordinate the timely movement of Inventory to and from all locations/branches of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the movement of inventory requirements within the company’s locations/branches.
- Works with the Divisions, Retail Branches and Inventory Manager to maintain optimum stock levels for all locations/branches at all times.
- Works with the Warehouse to determine the status of location/branch requisitions.
- Ensures that all documentation for movement of inventory to and from all locations/ branches are submitted – e.g. Inter Warehouse Transfers, Goods Return Notes, Delivery Notes, Material Requisitions, Invoices etc.
- Provides timely communication/feedback to the relevant location/branch on the status of their inventory requests.
- Prepares reports pertaining to the location/branch requests and movement of inventory as requested.
- Prepares reports on the performance of the Branch Transfers.
- Processes Invoices, Goods Received Notes and Credit Notes.
- Ensures all banking for van sales and customers at the location is completed.
- Sources goods and services and prepares local purchase orders.
- Any other related responsibilities assigned by Management.
Academic Qualifications, Experience and Soft Skills
- A minimum of five (5) CXC O’ Level passes including Mathematics and English Language
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the relevant field
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of applications
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team Oriented
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
